About me

Senior Backend Engineer in Haifa, Israel.

Current focus

Updated September 2026
Engineering

Building .NET backend services at mPrest, with a focus on microservices, data processing, and collaboration across software and systems teams.

AI in practice

Developing PromptKit, a library of reusable agent skills for codebase analysis, implementation, review, and verification. Applying AI-assisted workflows in my personal projects while keeping design decisions and validation explicit.

Continued learning

Deepening my understanding of distributed systems and .NET concurrency through focused study, examples, and practical exercises.

Sharing

Publishing free tools and study resources so useful engineering knowledge is easier to revisit and share.

How I work

Own the decision and the outcome. My experience includes serving as the technical focal point for medical imaging applications and leading an incremental modernization effort. I approach architecture through requirements, constraints, and the consequences a team will need to support.

Make quality verifiable. My foundation in test automation informs how I design service boundaries, investigate failures, and review changes. I prefer reproducible evidence: a focused test, a measured baseline, or a clear account of what remains unverified. One small benchmark reinforced the importance of testing assumptions before drawing conclusions.

Use AI with engineering judgment. I use AI-assisted development to explore approaches and move personal projects forward. Through PromptKit, I package repeatable workflows into focused agent skills. I remain responsible for understanding the result, reviewing the changes, and checking the behavior.

Keep learning and make it useful to others. I turn questions about concurrency, system design, and software delivery into experiments, tools, and technical writing. Code reviews, mentoring, and shared examples help make that learning useful beyond a single task.
